🚨 Scam Call Warning – Please Stay Vigilant 🚨

We have received reports of scam calls from fraudsters pretending to be police officers, bank staff, or members of a fraud investigation team.

These callers may claim that:

🔹 There has been fraudulent activity on your bank account
🔹 Your money is at risk and needs to be moved to a "safe account"
🔹 Someone has been arrested and your help is needed with an investigation
🔹 You need to withdraw cash or purchase gift cards as part of a police operation
🔹 Immediate action is required to protect your finances

Remember:

✅ Police officers will never ask you to transfer money, withdraw cash, purchase gift cards, or hand over bank cards and PIN numbers.

✅ Your bank will never ask for your full PIN or online banking password.

✅ If you receive a suspicious call, end the call immediately. If possible, wait at least five minutes before using the same phone line, or call a trusted friend or family member first to ensure the line is clear.

✅ Contact your bank using the number on the back of your card or from their official website.

✅ If someone claims to be from the police, you can verify this by calling 101.

Please check in on elderly relatives, friends, and neighbours, as fraudsters often target those they believe may be more vulnerable.
